How to Dispute and Reopen a CAR

To reopen a Closed CAR, the correct process is for the CAR Approver to first submit a dispute. Once the CAR is in a disputed status, it can then be reopened.

For the CAR Approver:

1. Go to Closed CARs (using the filter).
2. Locate the closed CAR.
3. Click the three-dot menu.
4. Select Dispute.

Then:

1. Go to Disputed CARs (using the filter).
2. Locate the disputed CAR.
3. Select Review Dispute.

Update the status from Disputed to OPEN. 

The CAR will then be reopened.
